This week I had the pleasure of talking with Mandy Jakich of Creative Matters about my painting practice. I greatly enjoy listening to the podcast and hearing from different New Zealand artists talk about their work and life so it was an honour to be asked to be a guest.
Roots of Empathy Illustration Project
Happy Baby illustration
Roots of Empathy is a charitable trust that delivers programmes to tamariki in primary and intermediate schools that help children understand their feelings and develop greater empathy. I have been commissioned to create 22 illustrations for use in these programmes that capture a range of emotions in babies and children at different ages. I am excited to use my skills to support a programme that will benefit children and young people.
