I am so delighted that my painting Be Right Back was selected for the 2026 Walker and Hall Art Awards, especially as this year’s judge was Dick Frizzell, one of Aotearoa’s most celebrated artists. It was lovely to attend the awards ceremony on Saturday 17 October and see the wonderful and diverse collection of paintings in the finalists exhibition.

The show is on until 29 November and is well worth a trip to Waiheke!
